Always there for you – Smarter Health Nurse Advice Line

When problems do arise, there is always a nurse available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the Smarter Health Nurse Advice Line. Just call 1-866-330-9368

And if you aren’t sure what to do, or who to call, follow these simple guidelines below.

Runny nose? Sore throat? Fatigue? Simple Back Pain?

Unless you’re in a serious life or death emergency, it’s always best to call your Primary Care Physician (PCP) first. He or she can recommend your best option, and it keeps your PCP up-to-date on your health situation. If your doctor’s office is closed, call the Total Health Care Smarter Health Nurse Advice Line at 1-866-330-9368.

Minor burns? Cuts? Sprained Ankle?

After hours urgent care centers are useful for treating injuries and illnesses that are not particularly serious or severe, but require immediate attention. You should only use Urgent Care Centers when your doctor’s office is closed or your doctor is unable to see you.

Trouble breathing? Chest pain? Severe pain or injury? Uncontrolled bleeding? Sudden numbness?

You are always covered in a medical emergency. If you are in a life threatening situation, call 911 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Department.
